The Perspective Is Mine (2023)

In 2023, I spent a year working in an old farmhouse in Weesp: a furnished yet abandoned house, as though it had been left untouched for fifty years. Full and empty at the same time. Filled with other people’s memories, which immediately began to resonate with my own.

My studio was in the empty attic. Yet the space below kept drawing me in, remaining just out of reach. I drilled a hole through the floor and began photographing the house from different perspectives.
